The CCP Buying Land Near U.S. Military Bases, Chinese Nationals Flood Southern Border, and Chinese Secret Police Among Us.
Clandestine communist agents flood the borders and buy our land to steal our military technology and subvert our way of life, while communist secret police enforce CCP rules on U.S. residents.
The CCP Buying Land Near U.S. Military Bases
According to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s investigation based on research conducted by The Heritage Foundation Oversight Project and Heritage Action, there appears to be a Chinese company that is buying land near military bases throughout the Midwest.
Cnano Technology USA Inc. (Cnano USA) plans to invest in a 333,000-square-foot facility in Johnson County, Kansas. They aim to manufacture liquid conductive paste for use in electric batteries. This was announced back in August of 2023 by the Kansas City Development Council, which partnered with the state and 3rd party entities to bring this company to the area. Cnano USA’s $95 million facility will be built approximately 35 miles from Fort Leavenworth, and 70 miles from the “only operational base for the B-2,” Whiteman Air Force Base.
Cnano USA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of C-Nano Technology Co., Ltd., which, in turn, is an entity that China-based Cnano Jiangsu Technology Co., Ltd. (Cnano Jiangsu) established in the British Virgin Islands, according to Cnano Jiangsu’s 2022 annual report. Cnano Jiangsu’s 2022 social responsibility report reveals that the firm employs 28 CCP party members with close ties to the central government.
Wisconsin Republican Representative Mike Gallagher, who is the chairman of the House Select Committee on the CCP had this to say:
“Just ask yourself the question: can Americans buy land in China near its military bases? Of course, the answer is no. It is a bad, bad idea to let the CCP or CCP-affiliated entities buy land near military bases in the U.S. We cannot allow the CCP to collect valuable intelligence here at home that they might leverage in the event of a crisis.”
As Americans, why do we allow any foreign entity to own parts of our own country? It makes no sense why we have foreign agendas and people looking to buy out America for the use of manufacturing so they can get rich off our own coin; not to mention think of the implications of letting foreign nationals get close to our military bases.
The Daily Caller also reviewed Cnano Jiangsu’s corporate records and found that they were actively promoting communism while increasing the amount of CCP party members in recent years. The CCP has also rewarded the company with millions of dollars for participating in various state-backed initiatives, including one program that the U.S. Office of the National Counterintelligence Executive warned us about in 2011. This program employs clandestine methods to acquire foreign technologies, both civilian and federal.
Mike Howell, director of the The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project had this to say:
“American citizens deserve to know whether foreign companies seeking business in their communities are operating in good faith or aiming to advance the interests of communist regimes.”
Unsurprisingly, Cnano Jiangsu’s business filing with the Shanghai stock exchange reveal that the multi-billion-dollar company operated a CCP Party branch, which is the usual for companies in China. These branches aim to promote the Party ideology and works to support the CCP’s integration into the firm’s corporate structure.
A “Party branch” is part of the CCP’s grass-roots subversion centers, and one must be established within an Chinese institution that has three or more Party members, per the CCP’s Supreme People’s Procuratorate.
According to the CCP Central Committee’s Organization Department:
Party organizations within private companies “guide and oversee enterprises in obeying state laws and regulations, unite their employees, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of all parties and promote the sound development of their enterprises, with a focus on carrying out the [CCP]’s principles and policies
In 2018, Cnano Jiangsu established its first Party branch, however, by the end of 2022, Cnano Jiangsu employed 28 CCP; roughly “3.54% of all workers.”
Cnano Jiangsu’s Party branch holds Party classes as well as “focused study sessions” in order to “study the spirit of General Secretary XI Jinping’s important speeches.” And along with that, the firm also supports “deep integration of Party-building and corporate governance.”
Cnano Jiangsu’s allegiance to the CCP can be seen from its 2022 social responsibility report, which states that the firm itself “insists on being guided by Xi Jinping Thought On Socialism With Chinese Characteristics For A New Era.”
This new chapter in the CCP was first unveiled in October of 2017 and focuses heavily on “the Party’s goal of building a strong military in the new era.”
Kansas Republican Representative Jake LaTurner told the Daily Caller:
“One of my top priorities continues to be preventing China from expanding its foothold in American supply chains and ensuring CCP-backed companies are not operating in Kansas. Xi will stop at nothing to infiltrate our most critical infrastructure, steal our intellectual property and gain insight into our military operations.”
In 2012, the company joined the CCP’s “863 Program.” This program supports the development of China’s military, according to the Select Committee of the United States House of Representatives.
The program was launched back in 1986 and according to the U.S. Director of National Intelligence:
“Provides funding and guidance for efforts to clandestinely acquire U.S. technology and sensitive economic information.”
In 2016, the 863 Program was incorporated into China’s National Key Research and Development Program, however, the program remained listed as an active, independent program on the Ministry of Science and Technology’s website until at least 2018.
That year, Cnano Jiangsu also began a project with the National Key Research and Development Program of China that had no stated end date.
The firm’s 2019 business filing also stated the following:
“National Key Research and Development Program of China” related to “developing a green macro-preparation method for the edge functionalization of graphene, equipment and production technology,” with its contract period being listed between “November 2018 – Project Completion.”
According to Bryan Burack, senior policy advisor on China and the Indo-Pacific at the Heritage Foundation’s Asian Studies Center:
“Participation in the 863 Program, financial incentives and who knows what else in terms of state subsidies, means that [Cnano Jiangsu and Cnano USA] are seen as essentially a partner of the government.”
According to a report from the Select Committee of the United States House of Representatives, the 863 Program:
“Focuses on both military and civilian science and technology” and aims “to accelerate the acquisition and development of science and technology in the PRC.”
The 863 Program regards technologies like biological warfare, nuclear weapons and exotic materials as “areas of military concern.”
According to Gryphon Scientific, LLC, an independent research firm, from the years 2009-2013, China spent over $800 million per year on the 863 Program.
The CCP government awarded Cnano Jiangsu over $7 million dollars for its participation in various state-backed initiatives. $163,000 of which was given by the CCP’s Ministry of Science and Technology for the firm’s participation in the 863 Program.
Cnano Jiangsu’s 2023 foreign investment plans explicitly identify “technology transfer” as an element of Cnano USA’s “business scope.”
The filing also states:
“Business scope: engage in research and development for nano materials (carbon nanotubes, graphene) and other composite materials, produce and market company products; provide the company with technical services, consulting, training and technology transfer.”
Cnano Jiangsu has also interacted with the CCP’s United Front Work Department (UFWD) in several occasions. This governmental agency conducts:
“United front work,” which is a “blend of engagement, influence activities and intelligence operations” that the CCP employs to shape policy toward China and “gain access to advanced foreign technology.”
In June of 2021, Cnano Jiangsu participated in a UFWD event in Jiangsu province, China, titled “Serving Oversees Chinese Enterprises.”
Cnano Jiangsu’s CEO, Zheng Tao, also the “director” of Cnano USA, attended the event and featured as a speaker. The following month, Zheng Tao contacted the UFWD in order to have his travel visa back to China expedited.
JinShang Online, a Chinese media site reported:
“On July 26th, Cnano Jiangsu’s CEO, Zheng Tao, was still in the U.S., but because of the firm’s production operation needs, he’d already reserved an August 14th China return ticket, however, because time was tight, going to the New York Chinese Consulate to sort out the entry visa invitation to travel to China had not been arranged in advance, so he hoped that the city’s UFWD (the city’s Overseas Chinese Affairs Office) would be able to help him.”
And yes you read that right, the UFWD is present in the United States and has several offices in the U.S. The UFWD worked with Chinese agencies back in their homeland to ensure Zheng Tao was able to travel back to China by his reserve date.
Former U.S. ambassador Joseph Cella warned the Daily Caller that the U.S. should be wary of CCP-tied Chinese companies seeking to establish a U.S. presence:
“The deals may appear benign, however, they are perilous and need to be engaged transparently and submitted to strict scrutiny and due diligence,” said Cella, who serves as director of the Michigan-China Economic and Security Review Group. “We are involved in a second Cold War now with China.”
Kansas Republican Senator Roger Marshall told the Daily Caller, he was concerned about Cnano USA’s plan to build a facility in his home state:
“When this was brought to our attention, we alerted the Kansas Bureau of Investigations (KBI) and asked them to review this company and its origins. I look forward to their findings and want to know what guardrails are in place to ensure our national security is prioritized above all else.”
A DOD spokesperson told the Daily Caller that the Pentagon will “identify and mitigate risks across all domains,” when asked about Cnano USA’s plans to build near U.S. military installations.
If completed, Cnano USA’s facility will be located at the New Century Commerce Center in Johnson County, Kansas. The FBI’s National Press Office declined to comment. Cnano USA, Cnano Jiangsu, Zheng Tao and Johnson County officials did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
Chinese Nationals Flood Southern Border
From the Post Millennial:
More Chinese nationals attempting to cross the southern border illegally were encountered in the first two days of May than throughout the year of 2021.
In San Diego at the border, agents apprehended 323 Chinese nationals. Now they have apprehended 485 Chinese nationals in just the first two days of May.
Bill Melugin of Fox News reported that the:
“Overwhelming majority of the Chinese are mass released as China is not cooperative with deportation flights from the U.S.”
The amount of Chinese nationals across the southern border has continued to escalate with over 24,200 apprehensions in just the last 6 months. According to Fox News, this number has skyrocketed by 7,000% since 2021, and is projected to rise by 14,000% by the end of 2024.
The Biden administration has relaxed vetting requirements for Chinese nationals crossing the border illegally. Internal emails from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, obtained by the Daily Caller, showed that Border Patrol agents were instructed to reduce the number of interview questions when dealing with Chinese migrants.
China affairs expert Gordan Chang, told the Daily Caller last year:
“When I first saw the surge in Chinese migrants, that’s the thought that came to my mind that these are either Ministry of State Security agents or Chinese military, who are coming to this country to commit acts of sabotage against the US.”
Mark Green, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, also echoed these concerns, noting that the majority of Chinese nationals invading the border are military-aged males.
Speaking to CPAC last February, Green said:
“I think every American should be scared to death.”
Green later commented on social media about the concerning trend:
“If we defend Taiwan, I can’t imagine there aren’t people in there who are going to be tracking our railheads and looking at our ports.”
And this sparks a major concern, if China decides to invade Taiwan anytime soon, we will be dealing with the ramifications of allowing these invaders into our homeland. This leads me into my next topic which you can find only on my website, click this link to go to the next article.
Fwiw I'd heard in the '90s of Chinese officials being given tours of national parks by us officials as part of proof of them being collateral for all the debt being run up.
In the '80s the Japanese were buying up American Real Estate especially in Hawaii with great concern and then they crashed, no military threat there though. Has China's army seen action? I'm aware of their advancements, and also aware of Chinese quality...
Did anything come of the Chinese California medical toxic waste bio warfare lab found near Sacramento 6 months ago?
24k caught... How many through already, don't forget the US backstabbed Chiang kai-shek when he was fighting against the communist Chinese who are now in power with the assistance of the US in 1946 or so
Errr…the US have over 800 military bases spanning the globe. How about you guys get the fuck out of other counties, then you can ask the Chinese to fuck off out of yours. Pot-kettle-black.
