Former Democrat Lobbyist and Whistleblower steps forward to tell all.
White House Office of Public Extortion
Recently I was approached by a former Democrat and Lobbyist that worked in the shady side of Washington D.C. during the Obama Administration. He had quite the story to tell me and wanted me to publish his story and begin an investigation into his claims. Let me tell you, what I found was pretty remarkable.
According to my confidential informant (CI), during the first minute of their meeting with the Obama White House staff in early 2009, they told an assemblage of corporate lobbyists and my CI to type ‘Marcus Mason’ into the subject line of their emails to the White House if they wanted to get them returned.
Knowing the Democrat National Convention (DNC) superdelegates like my CI did, my CI begrudgingly typed Mason’s name into the subject line of early emails to the newly formed White House Office of Public Engagement (WHOPE) to keep the Rockefeller Foundation (RF) in Obama’s good graces.
Unbeknownst to my CI, they had become a ‘Rockefeller’ lobbyist that February, only learning they secretly funded my CI’s new non-profit employer, Transportation For America (TF), after they called down from New York City to demand my CI’s Capitol Hill contact list, lest my CI be fired.
T4 was a public transit lobbying campaign formed by the RF to pressure Washington policymakers from “outside the beltway” by planting former Obama campaign organizers into the locales of powerful Washington politicians. Think Chicago for Dick Durbin, Minneapolis for Amy Klobuchar, Los Angeles for Barbara Boxer, New York City for Chuck Schumer.
My CI’s field operation “organized” through constant outreach to local officials, union heads and business leaders and it reveled in threatening nasty protests with their agent provocateurs. My CI would convey their activities when my CI lobbied their target offices on Capitol Hill, though transit proved hard to fire people up to protest for.
Like the majority of Leftist non-profits, they held meetings for meetings, suffered analysis paralysis and were “woke” before the term even existed. My CI and his colleagues were the corporate class of the social activists that we see today. Even the Capitol Hill Democrats disliked them for their annoying persistence and the Capitol Hill Republicans roundly dismissed them. However, that all changed when my CI and his colleagues were introduced to the Obama Administration, particularly its new Office of Public Engagement. And this is why my CI typed Marcus Mason’s name into the early email subject lines to the White House, despite Mason having been chief of staff and campaign manager for Congressman Walter Tucker (D-CA) who went to prison for extortion while Mason ran his racket.
My CI was a legislative fellow in the Congressional Black Caucus during the Walter Tucker ordeal and had also shared an office wall with Mason at Amtrak Government Affairs, quitting the corporation to escape him, fearing his and the diversity department’s legal redoubt in Washington, D.C.
By 2009, Mason was the senior partner with the Madison Group, a small lobbying firm tied to the Fortune 500 and DNC.
At the meeting in the Old Executive Office Building, my CI sat with Mason’s “partner” (a relative of Representative Jim Clyburn [D-SC]) and Zak Andersen, former chief of staff for Senate Finance Committee Chair, Max Baucus [D-MT], representing the Class I railroad, Burlington Northern Santa Fe.
My CI had known Zak for years through their close friend, Jim Messina, also a former chief of staff for Max Baucus, who was then White House Deputy Chief of Staff (Also known as Obama’s Fixer). Zak told my CI that he was meeting Messina later that night at the Nationals baseball game.
Fearing Hill oversight, my CI moved away from Mason to a direct contact in the WHOPE, Obama Special Assistant Derek Douglas, whom my CI had known when he Douglas served as Washington Director for New York Governor Elliot Spitzer.
Douglas and my CI met often with related White House staff before Douglas lowered the boom on the RF. At a meeting with my CI’s funders, Douglas condemned T4 for lacking equity despite calls for tripling transit funding for disadvantaged areas, doubling minority business contracts with the Department of Transportation (DOT), and cleaning the air for impoverished neighborhoods bordering ports and rail yards.
As you can imagine, my CI was quite furious with Douglas, who witnessed my CI frantically managing the “get out the vote” as Obama’s HUB Director in Williamsburg, Virginia on the final Sunday before the election. My CI called him at the White House, where Douglas obstinately affirmed his threat, despite not being able to define what he meant by “equity”. Because the truth is, none of them actually know what any of this woke ideology means.
My CI eventually learned that the Obama Administration was making itself into a kingmaker then by diverting corporate settlement money away from the U.S. Treasury and into their favored non-profits, which is why Douglas’ threat weighed so heavily on RF.
WHOPE also invited my CI to a Rose Garden bill signing, where my CI walked in with Reverend Al Sharpton, a pariah then for having led the Crown Heights pogrom and Tawana Brawley’s rape hoax.
Sharpton sharply contradicted Obama’s message of positive change on the campaign trail with Black tennis legend, Arthur Ashe, criticizing the ‘militant’ Sharpton fifteen years earlier in his memoir, Days of Grace, calling for ‘challenging’ Sharpton’s efforts to ‘build’ his ‘power base.1
Prior to Obama’s election, WHOPE had been the Office of Public Liaison. Valerie Jarrett, Sr. Advisor to the President and mentor to Michelle Obama dating back to 1991, oversaw this new office and expanded its portfolio, with Derek Douglas reporting to her as the President’s Assistant on Urban Affairs.
Additionally, Tina Tchen served as Director of WHOPE during these first two years of the Obama Administration before becoming Michelle Obama’s Chief of Staff and later being caught interfering in the Jussie Smollett investigation.
Tired of the secrecy and threats, my CI left T4 before the 2010 mid-terms. A casual review of Washington’s non-profits today indicate they are nearly all led by Obama alum, including T4.
In 2017, Trump returned WHOPE into the Office of Public Liaison, but Biden turned it back into WHOPE in 2021. This office is now led by a former mayor of Columbia, South Carolina who had practiced “governmental strategic planning” in his law practice at the time of his Columbia days.
Today, Valerie Jarrett is the CEO of the Barack Obama Foundation and Al Sharpton, who visited the Obama White House 70 more times, built a nationwide “powerbase” to the chagrin of Arthur Ashe. He has been the host of MSNBC’s Politics Nation for more than a decade and has become a mainstay of the corporate media.
Meanwhile Marcus Mason has had clients like Alphabet, Carlyle Group, Navient and Intel. Zak Andersen would sign Burlington Northern Santa Fe up as Mason’s client dating back to that White House meeting in 2009 and Zak continues with him to this day through the railroad’s parent corporation, Berkshire Hathaway.
Per a Truth finder search, Zak’s close friend and ‘Obama Fixer’, Jim Messina, maintained a second office in downtown Washington, DC. Zak and several of their friends from the Senate Finance Committee (Sen. Max Baucus [D-MT]) as well as Marcus Mason’s influential lobbying firm, The Madison Group, were also tied to this location.
Messina would close this second, far nicer, office in June of 2017, the month the Obama’s announced they were staying in DC and Messina announced he was leaving DC for Silicon Valley.
My CI, who I will give a good nickname in the future, as all good informants have, is bringing me this investigation to expose the corruption within our government and to right the wrongs that he participated in for many years. My CI was once good friends with Jim Messina and had learned of many of the corrupt schemes that were promulgated by these corrupt people, however, my CI has come to see the light and now wants to work with me to expose these people for what they really are.
I wanted to take time to thank the brave individual that stepped forward to expose the corruption in the Establishment. This is just the beginning of what will become my greatest investigation into government corruption. In the upcoming weeks I will be releasing more and more into what I have found. I don't get the point of this long list of who did what with whom when. I've worked in DC off and on for years relating to financial regulation and national security issues. All this describes is how some people got jobs. So what? I mean, it may explain to the uninitiated how referrals and personal relationships drive DC, but so what? That is how all business works. Does the author have a different way that jobs and tasks "should" be handed out by people in power how need to get things done?
