Commercial real estate is not for the faint-hearted and especially in Manhattan. Trump worked in the trenches of understanding how highrises worked and how they were built and how to constantly solve problems. He sought excellence! I worked in residential real estate for 17 years in San Francisco ( leasing agent) and knew I could not survive in the commercial realm. I understood a bit of the rough and tumble of real estate in general. That being said, Trump, while he is raw and blunt, he sees value in hands on endeavors. The people who build things, like buildings, roads, bridges, wharves, ships, automobiles, they know the true "bits and pieces" of what makes things work. When I lived in SF, we used to talk about the "board of stupidvisors" at City Hall, who while some were highly intelligent, they also were stuck in their heads and I doubt if many ever actually had direct experience in running even a small business. Dealing with human beings, products or services, payroll, taxes, all the myriad requirements of even a small business, this is very overwhelming and grounding work. "Head " people do not seem to grasp that concept. Trump did and does. While he does have a sharp mouth, he also loves this nation and is not a career politician. I am an Independent voter and have been for over twenty years. I will support PDJT because there is no one else I can vote for. Praying like mad, as well. I can't believe I used to hang in that crowd. How embarrassing but at least I woke up and unlike those charlatans and complicit mice, I speak the truth. I checked out of the Democrats in 2010, worked Libertarian in '12. The TDS thing is so strange and bizzare. They go into a sort of trance when his name is spoken. Personally, he doesn't do a thing for me, or against. He's the father of the vaccine and owns those pharma whackos, which is ironically hilarious, so I give him credit where it's due.
